Hello all you film lovers!!!

We are thrilled to announce The Aurora Film Society will be hosting a film workshop where you, or your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, – you get the idea – anyone 15 years or age or older can learn building blocks of how movies are made. These workshops will also give those attending the information and ability to make movies, with hands on experience!

We will help you learn about:

  • How to compose shots
  • How to edit
  • Sound design
  • Visual story telling
  • Film history

You will also learn from professionals working in the field of Filmmaking who can provide real life examples of how the craft works and show why some things do not work.

The 6 workshop sessions will be at the Aurora Public Library from 2 to 4:30pm on Sundays: July 20th and 27th and August 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.
