The Aurora Film Society brings “Five Easy Pieces” to the screen at The Venue (21 S. Broadway) on November 18th at 7 p.m.
This classic road trip film from California to Puget Sound features one of Jack Nicholson’s career-defining roles as oilfield worker Bobby Dupea. With its excellent cinematography and strong performances, it’s one of the best examples of the “New Hollywood” of the late sixties. One of Roger Ebert’s all-time favorite films, it’s still held up today as a masterpiece of character-based storytelling.
Join us on November 18th at The Venue. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the film begins shortly after 7 p.m. The screening is open to subscribers and box office ticket holders. Attendees who wish to purchase a one-time ticket for this show may reserve a ticket on this site under the Box Office tab for a donation of $10 or may pay via The Venue’s Eventbright link on their website.
